It's also 28 per cent smaller than previous Sony MiniDV models with a 0.25 inch Advanced HAD CCD and a 2.5 inch SwivelScreen LCD. Additional features include the Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar lens and 10x optical/120x digital zoom plus a new touch panel (with stylus) that makes it a cinch to access the functions of the camcorder. The DCR-TRV19 features 0.25 inch Advanced HAD (Hole Accumulation Diode) CCD with 340 K (effective) pixels that provides stunning detail and clarity, with exceptional video (up to 500 lines of horizontal resolution) and still image performance. This new, unique design complements the product's ultra compact size while providing easy, comfortable access to the video controls.
